Description

25-Day for Vietnam Wildlife tour : endemic bird and primates photography.

This is the longest journey, 25 days, a long journey for bird watching, wildlife and especially primates in Vietnam.

This journey will bring more than 350 species of birds to be seen, with more than 200 species you will have beautiful images recorded, as well as more than 12 species of Vietnamese endemic primates, including the famous Red-shanked Douc.

The journey will start from Ho Chi Minh City and end in Hanoi. This is a journey throughout Vietnam and does not use domestic flights. If your time is limited, you can consider cutting out one For some itineraries, you will have to use a local flight. We will advise you on the airport and flight route suitable for the tour schedule.

An overview schedule is listed below.

Day 1: HCM city – Cangio mangrove forest.

• Birds: Shorebirds in migratory and native birds, about 40 species.
• Mammal : monkey island for macaques
• Night in Can Gio town

Day 2: Can Gio mangrove forest to Dong Nai nature reserve:

• Morning for Irrawaddy dolphin
• Transport to Dong Nai NR

Day 3: Dong Nai nature reserve:

• Birds: Pittas, Broadbills, Magpie, Babblers, Woodpeckers… good pictures in the hide.
• Transport to Cat Tien NP

Day 4: Cat tien National park.

• Mammals: Yellow cheeked Gibbon.
• Birds: Germain’s peacock pheasant, Siamese fireback, partridge…
• Night spotlight : Pygmy loris, palm civet, Giant flying squirrel …

Day 5: Cat tien National park.

• Mammals: Black-shanked Douc, Annamese silver langur.
• Birds: Pitta, trogon and other native birds like Iora, Oriole, leafbird, Sunbirds…
• Night spotlight : Pygmy loris, palm civet, Giant flying squirrel …

Day 6: Cat tien NP – Di linh forest.

• Mammals: Sambar deer, Red muntjak, …
• Birds: green peafowl, barbets, Green pigeon..
• Transport to Di linh town.

Day 7: Di linh forest.

• Birds: blue pitta, bar-backed partridge, Indochinese green magpie,
• Other birds: black headed parrotbill, long-tailed broadbill…
• Transport to Dalat City
• Dalat city night market.

Day 8: Dalat city – Bidoup Nui Ba National park.

• Morning first spot for endemic Birds: Grey crowned Crocias, dalat shrike babbler…
• The second Bird spot: Vietnamese greenfinch, Langbian Tit, Indochinese barbet, Annam sunbird, Langbian Sunbird…
• Afternoon : transport to Bidoup Nuiba NP
• Birds in Bidoup Nuiba NP center : Red crossbill, Annam minivet, Slender-billed Oriole, Vinous breasted Myna, ….

Day 9: Bidoup Nui Ba National park.

• Morning for Bird in hide: Collared laughingthrush, Black hooded laughingthrush, White-cheeked laughingthrush, Black-crowned fulvetta, Grey bellied Tesia, Pygmy Wren babbler, Indochinese green magpie, Black headed Sibia, Slaty backed Forktail…

Day 10: Bidoup Nui BaNational park – Yokdon National park.

• Birds : Vietnamese cutia, Dalat bush-warbler…
• Transport to Yokdon NP.

Day 11: Yokdon National park.

• Birds : white-rumped falcon, black headed woodpecker, Burmese nuthatch, Small minivet…

Day 12: Yokdon National park – Kontum city.

• Birds : 4 species of sunbird, prinia, white-bellied woodpecker, …
• Transport to Kontum city

Day 13: Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve:

• Kontum city to Ngoc Linh nature reserve
• Birds in the hide for endemic: Golden winged laughingthrush, Black crowned barwing, Coral-billed Scimitar babbler, Indochinese fulvetta…

Day 14: Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve – Mang Den town

Day 19: Bach Ma National park.

• Birds: Fulvetta, Sunbirds, thrushs, …
• Mammals : Stump-tailed Macaque.
• Transport to Phong Nha Ke Bang NP in afternoon.

Day 20: Phong Nha Ke Bang National park.

• Birds : Limestone warbler, Sooty babbler, Ratchet tailed treepie…
• Phong Nha cave, beautiful landscape limestone cave.

Day 21: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP.

Day 22: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP – Ninh Binh province

Day 23: Van Long NR:

• Transport to Cat ba island.
• Boat trip for Catba langur.

Day 25: Cat Ba island
