14-Day for Vietnam Wildlife tour : endemic bird and primates photography.

Description

This is the trip for 14 days, the journey for bird watching, wildlife and especially primates in Vietnam.

This journey will bring more than 150 species of birds to be seen, with more than 50 species you will have beautiful images recorded, as well as more than 12 species of Vietnamese endemic primates, including the famous Red-shanked Douc.

The journey will start from Ho Chi Minh City and end in Hanoi. This is a journey throughout Vietnam by private transport.

An overview schedule is listed below.

Day 1: Hochiminh city to Dong Nai nature reserve:

• Birds: Pittas, Broadbills, Magpie, Babblers, Woodpeckers… good pictures in the hide.
• Transport to Cat Tien National park.

Day 2: Cat tien NP

• Mammals: Yellow cheeked Gibbon .
• Birds: Germain’s peacock pheasant, Siamese fireback, partridge…

Day 3: Cat tien NP

• Mammals: Black shanked Douc, Pygmy loris.
• Birds: other native birds like Iora, Oriole, leafbird, Sunbirds…

Day 4: Cat tien NP – Di Linh forest.

• Mammals: Sambar deer, Red muntjak, …
• Birds: green peafowls,
• Transport to Dilinh town at the afternoon.

Day 5: Di linh forest – Cangio mangrove forest.

• Birds: blue pitta, bar-backed partridge, Indochinese green magpie,
• Transport to Hochiminh city. (18:00 pm)

Day 6: HCM city – flight to Danang city

• Mammals: Irawaddy dolphin, Long-tailed macaque, pig-tailed macaque .
• Birds: Shorebirds in migratory and native birds.
• Take flight from Hochiminh City to Danang city.

Day 7: Danang city:

• Mammal : Red-shanked Douc.
• Birds: Sunbirds, warblers, thrushs, …
• Cultures : Museum, pagoda…

Day 8: Danang city – Bach Ma National park.

• Mammal : Red-shanked Douc.
• Transport to Bach Ma NP in afternoon
• Birds: birds in Bach Ma National park.

Day 9: Bach Ma National park – Phong Nha Ke Bang NP:

• Mammal : Red-shanked Douc, Stump-tailed macaque.
• Birds: Yuhina, fulvetta…
• Transport to Phong Nha Ke Bang NP in afternoon.

Day 10: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP.

• Birds: Limestone warbler, Sooty babbler, Ratchet tailed treepie, Sultan tit, Indochinese Yuhina……
• Phong Nha cave, beautiful landscape limestone cave.

Day 11: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP.

• Birds: Rufous cheeked Laughingthrush, Black throated laughingthrush, Red-collared Woodpecker, Black browed fulvetta…
• Mammals: White-cheeked Gibbon.

Day 12: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP – Ninh Binh province

• Mammal: Hatinh langur.
• Transport to Ninh Binh province in afternoon.

Day 13: Van Long NR:

• Mammals: Delacour’s langur,
• Birds : water-bird around Van Long lagoon.

• Transport to Cat ba Island

Day 14: Cat Ba Island:

• Mammals: Catba langur,
• Transport to Hanoi in afternoon.

End the tour.
