Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hanoi city – Ninh Binh city, Van Long NR
2. Day 2: Ninh Binh City to Hai Phong City, Cat Ba National Park
3. Day3: Cat Ba Island then Hai Phong City, flight to Danang City
4. Day 4: Danang City – Phong Nha Ke Bang NP
5. Day 5: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP then flight back to Hanoi, end of the tour

As follow:

Day 1: Hanoi city – Ninh Binh city, Van Long NR

Targets: Delacour’s langur

Pick you up at the international airport in Hanoi, then we transport you to Ninh Binh City, after 2 and a half hours, we will arrive at the first destination.

Ninh Binh is a tourist area with a beautiful natural landscape, attractive to tourists, famous as Tam Coc – Bich Dong, Cuc Phuong National Park, Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, … Especially the Trang An Landscape Complex was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 2014.

We will use a boat (traditional hand rowing) to find and photograph Delacour’s langur on the first afternoon of the 5-day tour. In addition, on Van Long lagoon, visitors will enjoy the beautiful scenery and some water birds such as Pheasant-tailed Jacana, Little Grebe…

We will spend an hour in the afternoon visiting Tam Coc – Trang An so that visitors can admire the natural beauty here, and also visit the care and semi-natural release of Delacour’s langur.

Accommodation: Ninh Ninh City.

Day 2: Ninh Binh City to Hai Phong City, Cat Ba National Park

Early morning visit to Van Long NR again for Delacour’s langur or choose another to visit Cuc Phuong NP (if the first day we can have good pictures of this beautiful primate).

10:00 am will check out then move to Hai Phong city, then visit Cat Ba island, where the Cat Ba NP is located.

Cat Ba is the name of the main island about 100km² wide, 30 nautical miles from Hai Phong port, located in the south of Ha Long Bay, creating an archipelago of islands and caves in the sea that captivates visitors. Coming here, visitors will enjoy the fresh air and immerse themselves in the beautiful nature.

Cat Ba National Park has both forest and sea with rich resources, beautiful landscapes, and many kinds of rare flora and fauna. The terrain is diverse, mainly limestone mountains with many caves. The forest on the limestone mountain occupies the largest area, alternating with the forests that grow naturally on the mountain. The fauna here is also very special, with the Cat Ba langur that often lives on the craggy coastal cliffs – here is a very rare and precious animal that is now only found in Cat Ba.

3:30 pm: Use the ship to visit “Halong Bay” for the first trip to seek the rarest primate of Vietnam “ Cat Ba Langur”.

Accommodation: in Cat Ba island.

Day3: Cat Ba Island then Hai Phong City, flight to Danang City

5:30 am, we use the ship to go to Halong Bay, again to seek and photograph for Cat Ba langur. In the morning, the opportunity to find and take photos of the primate will be easier, we will complete the goal early and return to the marina by 9:00 am.

Have breakfast and check out, then move to the airport in Hai Phong City.

We will fly to Da Nang City in the afternoon.

Day 4: Danang City – Phong Nha Ke Bang NP

Da Nang is a coastal city with a beach of more than 60 km. With a beautiful beach, gentle stretching, and endless white sand, My Khe Beach Da Nang was voted by Forbes magazine of the US as one of the six most attractive beaches on the planet. Diving in the clear water, playing with the waves, and sunbathing on the fine white sand are enough to bring anyone a feeling of relaxation.

Not only is it the center of three world heritage sites (Hue City, Hoi An City, and My Son), but Da Nang City also has many beautiful natural destinations suitable for bird and wildlife viewing. To the north is Hai Van pass, to the west is Ba Na mountain, and to the northeast is Son Tra peninsula, an ideal spot for photographing Red-shanked douc.

Morning visit to Son Tra peninsular for Red-shanked Douc, the Rhesus macaque.

The rest time we will visit Linh Ung Pagoda and visit a famous cultural destination in Danang: Cham ethnic group museum.

Then we move to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.

Day 5: Phong Nha Ke Bang NP then flight back to Hanoi, end of the tour

In the early morning, we will search and take pictures of Ha Tinh langur, a rare and beautiful primate that is not easy to find to see them in the wild.

After completing this goal, we will have time to visit the cave with many species of bats.

In the afternoon, we return to the National Park and visit the decent cave, a famous tourist destination with limestone caves, and stalactites created after millions of years with many strange shapes, with contemporary lighting techniques. It makes visitors wonder and wonder.

We will arrive at Dong Hoi airport at 5:00 pm, ending the tour.
