7-Days Bird watching and Photography in Southern Vietnam
- Day 1: Cat Tien National Park
- Day 2: Cat Tien National Park
- Day 3: Cat Tien National park to Dalat city, Bidoup Nuiba NP.
- Day 4: Dalat city, Bidoup Nuiba NP.
- Day 5: Bidoup Nui Ba National Park
- Day 6: Dalat city-DiLinh plateau.
- Day 7: Dilinh plateau and back to Hochiminh City
As followed:
Day 1: Birding in Cat Tien National Park, Vietnam
We will pick you at 6:00 am, transport to Cat Tien National Park by private car, breakfast at restaurant on the way, nice Vietnamese coffee too. You arrive to Cat Tien after 3 and half hours, after check-in time, we will go to the park, in some trails, you will have some nice targets : Woodpeckers, Sunbirds, Drongo, Oriole, Cuckooshrike, Woodshrike, Flycatcher…
Lunch and rest to 13:30 pm then visit to the bird-hide for Bar-bellied Pitta, Blue-rumped Pitta, Indochinese babbler, indochinese blue flycatcher, Robin, Babblers, Bulbuls…
Meals : 3 main meals and side meal by Vietnamese fruits.
Accommodation : Cat Tien NP. – the private rooms with Best river view, wifi, hot-water and good restaurant.
Day 2: Cat Tien National Park
A day for bird-hide with endemic : Germain’s peacock pheasant, Green legged Partridge, Siamese fireback, and other : Slaty-legged Crake, White-rumped shama, Greater coucal, Bulbuls, …
Afternoon time, from 14:00 pm we go another trails for other bird : Black and red broadbill, Banded Broadbill, Orange-breasted trogon, bee-eaters, spiderhunter, leafbirds, minivet …
16:30 pm : safari car to Grassland for : Green peafowl, Green pigeons, Doves, and mammals : Red muntjak and Sambar Deer.
After Dinner , we go to spotlight for the Owls : Asian barred Owlet, Brown hawk owl, Collared Scops Owl, Large-tailed nighjar…
Back to the hotel at 22:00 pm.
Day 3: Cat Tien National Park – HCM city
We start at 6:00 on trails for : Banded kingfisher, pale-headed Woodpecker, White-browed Piculet, and more with Violet cuckoo, Ruby-cheeked Sunbird, Blue-winged leafbird…
Back to the hotel at 11:30 am
Lunch 12:30am, Check out at 13:30 pm , then move to Dalat city.
After arrive to Dalat, go birding around the first bird-spot in Dalat, and will arrive to the hotel at 18:00pm.

Day 4: Birding in Dalat city, Langbian Plateau, Vietnam
Visit to the second bird-spot in Dalat city for birds, include 1 endemic “grey-crowned Crocias”.
After that, you will visit to Bidoup-Nuiba, continue birding at the center headquarter of Park some nice birds: Vietnamese Greenfinch, Red-crossbill, Chestnut-vented Nuthatch,…

Day 5: Dalat city – Bidoup Nuiba NP.
5:00am, we go to the Bidoup Nuiba National Park for birding : use the bird-hide in Bidoup Nuiba NP for more than 20 species of beautiful birds, include 4 endemic species.
The hide was designed under the canopy of tropical forest, cross rocky streams with crystal clear water, in a fairy-tale setting of broadleaf forests on high mountains.
Lunch at the Da Nhim town.
After dinner we can go do “night Da Lat center market “ and you will surprise about goods and people in here.
Day 6:Birding in Bidoup Nui Ba National Park, Vietnam
Start at 6:00 , After breakfast we Birding and birds photography in morning time at other place of the National Park for Vietnamese cutia and mixed pine and evergreen forest birds.
13:00 am, move to Dilinh town.
Accommodation : in Dilinh town
Day 7: Dilinh plateau and back to Hochiminh City
Early morning to the hide in Dilinh for Blue Pitta, Bar-backed partridge, thrushs, … then go to the main trail in Dilinh for birding with other birds.
12:00 we back to lunch, after luch we go back to Hochiminh City, arrive to the city at 17:00pm.
Tour include: Transportation from HCM city to the park and back, safari car inside the park, National part tickets and crocodile lake tickets, Meals, drinks, Ranger’s pay for spotlight; accommodation, guide and pay for boat to entry and back out-of the working time.
